Collections

The IU South Bend Libraries, comprised of the Franklin D. Schurz Library and Dorothy J. Wiekamp Educational Resource Commons (WERC), provide access to over two million titles including 318,223 print monographs, 155,971 electronic serials and databases, over one million eBooks, and 170,422 streaming movie titles.

The primary goal of the collection is to support the needs of the University’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The Libraries also support faculty research by enabling access to needed materials and collections through interlibrary loan, document delivery, and consortia services.

To access our collections, check out these Search and Find tools. Materials can also be obtained from other libraries using Interlibrary Loan.

Questions regarding the collection should be directed to Susan Thomas, Dean of Library Services.
