The Michiana Scholarly Communication Librarianship Conference is the only scholarly communication conference aimed specifically at small and mid-sized university libraries. The MSCLC is ideal for librarians and library directors at institutions interested in launching a scholarly communication program. It is also a great opportunity for those currently working with scholarly communication initiatives to network and share experiences, best practices and ideas. Finally, the programming should be of great interest to library school students interested in developing skill sets for emerging areas of academic librarianship.
Now in its third year, the Michiana Scholarly Communication Librarianship Conference continues to work to bring a variety of theoretical and practice-based programming to attendees, free of charge. We secure funding through a variety of donations. Our first two years we were forced to cap registration at 30 attendees due to financial constraints. We are hoping to increase registrations for 2016. Please visit our sponsors page here.
