Collections

The IU South Bend Libraries, comprised of the Franklin D. Schurz Library and Dorothy J. Wiekamp Educational Resource Commons (WERC), provide access to over 1.6 million titles including 269,069 print monographs, over 125,000 electronic serials and databases, 896,411 eBooks, and 223,754 streaming movie titles. Several specialized collections, listed below, are included among these resources.

The primary goal of the collection is to support the needs of the University’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The Libraries also support faculty research by enabling access to needed materials and collections through interlibrary loan, document delivery, and consortia services.

To access our collections, check out these Search and Find tools. Materials can also be obtained from other libraries using Interlibrary Loan.

Questions regarding the collection should be directed to Susan Thomas, Director of Collection Services.
