Please join us John Duffy, Assistant Professor of English at University of Notre Dame, discusses Hmong-American culture and writings about them in contemporary journalism and in books such as our One Book, One Campus title, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down. Duffy is the author of the forthcoming book, Writing from These Roots: The Historical Development of Literacy in a Hmong-American Community. A reception will follow Duffy's talk.
