IMS maintains four video conferencing rooms; three on the South Bend campus and one on the Elkhart campus. For more information, contact Joe Haase at ext. 5558.
Northside 038
This room is the largest of the four, and seats up to 24 participants in rows at tables. In most cases, the room is used as a simple video conferencing room, with the user switching between the camera and the computer. However, NS 038 is also outfitted with three wall-mounted video cameras that can pan, tilt, and zoom to show students and the instructor from a variety of angles. A fourth camera, (the ELMO), displays documents and two-dimensional objects.
Northside 075
This room accommodates up to 12 participants around a conference table, and includes a computer and document camera.
NS 072
This room serves as a backup when the other two rooms are booked. Up to 5 participants can be seated. Computer and document camera are now available! NS 072 is on our upgrade "wish list" for new carpeting and other amenities.
Elk a219
Elk a219, located on the Elkhart campus, can accommodate up to 24 participants, and includes a document camera and computer.
