NOTE: The Library accepts applications year round for student assistant positions. Applications are kept on file for one semester. While staffing needs change throughout the year, department supervisors frequently interview and/or hire the month prior to classes starting for any given semester.
Qualifications:
The Library defines an IU South Bend student as any person taking three or more credit hours at IU South Bend. It is the policy of the Schurz Library and Learning Resource Center to hire IU South Bend students for these positions. This policy is a reflection of the Library's commitment to assisting IU South Bend students by giving them income and work experience during their college years.
